"Annalaura is a talented, lovely, creative photographer. I loved working with her, she has great energy and her attention to detail pays off wonderfully. I look forward to working with her again on some exciting new projects". Catherine de Crevecoeur, Stylist

"I taught Annalaura at Central St Martins where she was well-motivated and professional in her approach and attitude. I think she has progressed much since then and has developed a very fine portfolio of images. She often does self-initiated projects and has also assisted and worked with top photographers and designers. She has a natural flair and love of fashion and portrait photography and relates well with people". Peter Cattrell, Photographer

I was born in Italy, on a colorful summer's day, in 1979.

From an early age, in the eighties, I was captivated by the images of the time: magnetic, powerful and seductive. My family has been a constant source of inspiration. My mother, a very creative and brave woman, has been a catalyst in my appreciation of fashion, style and balance; my father, an effortlessly elegant man, lawyer and philanthropist, infused me with a refined taste in everything that's worth to be enjoyed, as a reward after due effort. They instilled the philosophy of independence within me and encouraged me to explore and broaden my horizons since when I was 10 years old, by letting me travel with them at first and shortly after on my own. That's when I started shooting my first pictures: I would return home, all excited, with a catalog of images from my trips. Despite the fact I started to travel quite intensively ever since, it was never enough for me. To live my dreams, I would shoot my Barbies, framing picture stories. Then, around the age of 12, as soon as I was able to manage some make-up, I started turning my friends into living dolls, dressing them up with my mother's clothes and mimicking fashion editorials.

Many years later, after a Law degree, I decided to move to London to deepen my photography skills. I studied Photography at Central Saint Martins. It has definitely been a turning point in my career. New creative contacts brought me to Mr. Tim Bret Day, a renowned London-based fashion photographer and talented artist whom I assisted, resulting in the most intense and exciting training season of my photography life. Shoots with model agencies followed by, and so did the first magazine publications.

In 2018 I won an award for International Garden Photographer of the Year, a world's competition organised by the Royal Botanic Gardens of Kew.

When I am not shooting, I love to be around plants and flowers.
